I understand that for densely occupied spaces an alarm (visible or audible) is required. If a sensor was installed in the room, but instead of beeping/flashing it would increase the ventilation rate when CO2 is exceeded by 10 % over the set point? Could that be a way of meeting the credit intent? (We have complex ventilation systems with 100 % outdoor air and heat recovery, and most owners find the alarms being just a show and they don’t want them).

No, you will need to provide an alarm. It does not need to be local. It is better practice to have it alert building staff remotely.

Thank you Andrew!
So a visible alarm, to building staff remotely, with an increase of air would be fine then? A combo?

The automatic increase is not actually required. However, it is likely a good idea for design purposes.
