Our project is mixed with some building 4 stories plus and some 3 stories and less. I have two questions. 1. For the 3 stories and less buildings (Group 2) is there a pathway to achieve 1 point?

Compliance paths for estar eligible buildings with scores <75

We have a building that is an ENERGY STAR-eligible building type but has a score that is less than 75 and unable to achieve 75. Using Case 1 it would not qualify.

The reference guide refers to comparing site energy data for the previous 12 months with data from the 3 contiguous yrs of previous 5 yrs (in order to demo 25% improvement).

It appears that this credit can not be earned if a project does not meet some water demand through nonpotable sources.

To comply with the prerequisite is it essential to engage a Professional Engineer if the project is located outside the U.S. and consequently ineligible for Energy Star certification?
