LEED v4 Interior Lighting Quality Option 2 - Strategy C

We have an art lab which has a ton of equipment/machines that students use for metal working/ pottery/ etc.

The EQ credit Interior Lighting – Option 1 - Lighting Control states that “switches or manual controls must be located in the same space as the controlled luminaires.

Are lobbies in residential apartment/condo buildings considered multioccupant spaces and thus subject to comply with lighting controllability requirements if pursuing this credit?

What program/process is most helpful for caluclating separate illuminance values for ceilings/walls/work surfaces?  I have not been able to track down a process that will allow me to do t

We are having trouble getting light reflectance values from the manufacturer for a number of finishes.  Has anybody tried using some sort of light meter to get the value yourself?

It seems to me that it would be inappropriate to have dimmers in a natatorium for safety reasons. Has anyone worked on this credit for a natatorium project?

Is there an exclusion for commercial kitchens needing to meet the EQc6 mutli-occupant lighting levels?  We are working on a hotel project, with a restaurant, where the kitchen has switches but

This credit is called Interior Lighting. Option 2 Strategy C says "for total connected lighting load", so does exterior lighting need to be included for lamp life?
