Baseline System for Warehouse Shell

Wondering how to determine the baseline system for a warehouse that upon initial completion will be a cold, dark shell maintained at 50°F.

Natural Ventilation

Hi! Currently, I'm working on a warehouse's project under LEED certification. There's no heating/cooling system in the warehouses, there's only natural ventilation.

ASHRAE 90.1 Exit signs - Mandatory Provisions

In the CS- project the exit signs are considered to be a part of the emergency lighting. Therefore the lamps are off during normal operation. The proposed exit sign exceed 5 W per face.

We are pursueing OPTION 1 (Whole Building Simulation). Thus we also have to comply to the mandatory provisions, e.g. section 9.4 for lighting.
