Our clients want to use aCI-2009 IEQc4.3: Low-emitting materials - flooring systemsposted by Susan Di Giulio on Oct 16, 2013, 2:41 amOur clients want to use a 100% cashmere goat hair carpet tile made by Tretford in Great Britain in a special conference room. (That's going to feel spectacular on the feet!) No, of course Thetford has never applied for Green Label Plus, but they have the following credentials: BRE Global Listed ENP 419, UKAS Product Certification, ISO. I am not sure how to proceed to find out the equiivalence to Green Label, or if it is even possible. Can someone get me started down the right path? IEQc4.3 ... Flush out in climate zone 1NC-2009 IEQc3.2: Construction IAQ management plan - before occupancyposted by Adi Negara, LEED AP BD+C on Sep 24, 2013, 5:52 ammechanical system such as fan? If we can use that, what elements do we have to consider? As for testing, we have difficulties to find lab that can use EPA compendium or ISO method for all parameters. There are some labs offering us to use NIOSH method, however I don't think this method have the same minimum detection limit to those of EPA or ISO. Any ideas? Our building design only incorporate natural ventilation and AC (VRF system). Is it possible with our location condition, a naturally ventilated building, conditioned with AC- VRF system design- flush out can be performed? What strategy can we consider? Should we stick to Option 1 or go with Option 2 (IAQ testing)? The concerns to Option 2 is that there are no lab that can perform all of those contaminant testing using EPA or ISO method here. How about NIOSH method? Can we be permitted to use... |

I haven't tried this alternate compliance path for this credit, but have had other similar alternate compliance approach turned down. Log in or register to post comments G.J. Part of HVAC considered as Process for clean rooms?NC-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performanceposted by Valentin Grimaud on Feb 28, 2013, 6:18 amDear community, My project includes extraordinary energy consumption for HVAC resulting from maintaining clean room environments – specifically the amount of air changes and pressure requirements which must be maintained in order to comply with ISO standards. We can see that the exception G3.1.1c especially deals with extraordinary energy consumption for HVAC resulting from maintaining clean room environments. Besides, I was told that we could claim a portion of the HVAC load as “process loads”. Process loads must be equal in baseline and proposed cases, so this would apply for this portion of the HVAC...
