Floor area calculating

I'm using the Option 2 - Prescriptive Approach for this credit, In particular room has 6 windows and each side two and one side no windows.

how to execute calculation if balcony exist?

Hi, Guys I have a residential project, each housing unit has a balcony in front of side window of the living room, should i need to consider shading impact of balcony when using OPTION 2.

Conference Rooms with folding partitions

I have a large conference room with a folding partition to create two smaller conference rooms. Do I run the simulation with the partition open (one large room) or closed (two small rooms)?

Daylight calculations with Design Builder v3

Dear All, I am using Daylighting module of Design Builder V3 for IEQc8.1 daylight calculations and it gives very different results (less light) than the calculations conducted with Ecotect+Radianc

We have some projects in which regularly occupied spaces are designed with no-windows because of client's requirements. These are process areas (a kitchen and a laboratory).
