Green Gurus at Greenbuild

Hi all,

We know preparations for Greenbuild are well underway for many of you. We also know that there will be many things competing for your time while you're there. Here's one more to consider! We don't have all the details solidified yet, but wanted you to know sooner rather than later for planning purposes.

We hope you’ll block some time on your calendars Tuesday evening (Nov. 1st). BuildingGreen plans to host a Show & Tell and reception for our Green Gurus! This is always a great time, with five minute presentations from Peer Network members, plus a chance to see people in person and catch up or get to know each other.

Exact time and location TBD, we’ll follow up with more details when we have them. If you know of a good venue (or want to volunteer your firm’s office) shoot me an email. For now, we hope you’ll keep this in mind when making your plans, and we hope to see you there!

Hi folks, If you'll be a Greenbuild, here's a quick reminder to reserve some time on Tuesday evening for the return of the Peer Networks Show & Tell. There is a lot happening that evening, so it's impossible to avoid time conflicts, but we've landed on this schedule: 6:30–7:30 reception, 7:30–9:00 showtime. If you're presenting at Greenbuild we're especially interested in having you share a 5-minute version of your talk--please email us or post here so we know where we can catch other PN members. Yes! Sorry for the delay. We'll be at Gensler's office, 45 Fremont St. Suite 1500. A more complete invite will go out next week with all the details in one place. In the meantime, a reminder on the date and time to hold: Tuesday, Nov. 1: 6:30–7:30 reception, 7:30–9:00 showtime.

Hello Green Gurus, It’s great to see some buzz about presentations! We’re really looking forward to it. Here are all the details for our Greenbuild Show & Tell and the RSVP form. When: Tuesday, November 1st
Reception 6:30-7:30pm, Presentations 7:30-9pm
Where: Gensler's office, 45 Fremont St. Suite 1500
Who: Peer Network members and one guest each Big thanks to Gensler for hosting us! To comply with their protocols, we need everyone to submit an RSVP. If you’re not on the list, we can’t guarantee entrance to the building. We are allowing each of you to bring one guest, please fill out the relevant part of the form if you’d like to do so. Due to space limitations, registrations are capped at 120 people, so grab your spot early! We’ll also be closing registrations Monday 10/31 promptly at noon ET so make sure you’re in before the cutoff.

Presentation signups are also on the RSVP form, let us know there if you’d like to present. All members are welcome to share anything that may be of interest to fellow Sustainability Leaders. We’re especially interested in hearing 5-minute versions of Greenbuild presentations and will prioritize those.
As far as Covid protocols, we expect all attendees to be fully vaccinated and boosted (honor system - no need to show proof). Masks will be optional, and we request that all attendees take a rapid test the morning of the event and attend only if it comes out negative.

All that being said, we are super excited to see you! If you’ll be around, we hope that you’ll stop by. Reach out with any questions.

Hi all, Thanks so much to everyone that attended our Show & Tell at Greenbuild, and especially to our presenters! It was wonderful to see all of you. Most of our presenters agreed to share their slides, so those are attached. As a reminder, please keep these files within this network unless you have permission to share them more broadly. Some presenters agreed to share their slides only with our Green Gurus. If you're reading this in an email, the filenames are fairly cryptic, but if you click through to the post (using the link near the bottom of the email) you'll be able to see the presenter's name and presentation title, so that you'll have a better idea of what you're clicking on. The presentations can also be found in the "Shared Files" tab of the forum, in the "Event Documentation & Presentation Decks" folder. We are busily planning next year's Peer Networks events, so we hope to see more of you soon!
