Option 1: Provide data on the minimum number of parking spaces required by local zoning, the total onsite parking capacity, the number of preferred parking spaces, and tenant

Confirm whether or not the project will be providing new parking within the LEED boundary.

Case 1: Tenant Space Less Than 75% of Total Building Area

Complete the LEED Online credit form based on the approach taken—see below.

Before construction begins, research the availability of any additional reused and salvage materials that you may not have found during the design phase. If product decisions are made after construction begins, there may be less time to carefully review data sheets and much greater risk of using a noncompliant product.

If you are providing preferred parking for carpools or vanpools, verify that appropriate signage is installed for the spaces.

When preferred parking is provided for carpooling or vanpooling, provide appropriate signage for the parking spaces.

Make sure that bike racks, showers, and changing facilities are built according to plans.

If you are doing a phased submittal, submit all construction documents at the end of construction.  If you are not doing a phased submittal, submit all design and construction documents at the end of construction. 

Coordinate the collection and submission of all LEED documentation, working with all team members involved in the construction phase of the project. Review all documentation as it comes in.
