Step-By-Step Guidance
Step 1. Select System
Remove the last sentence in the last bullet. The sentence to delete reads "Each unit must be able to control the demand pump that provides hot water when needed."
Step 2. Design System
Remove the following bullets under 'Demand circulation loop design':
Bullet two, which starts with "Confirm that the actual installed..."
Bullet four, which starts with "Provide controls (e.g. switches, motion sensors)..."

Minimum Program Requirements
Under "Additional Guidance, Site," edit the two sub-bullets and and bullet below to the following:
"o If another building or structure within the LEED project boundary is ineligible for LEED certification, it may be either included or not included in the certification of the LEED project.
o If another building within the LEED project boundary is eligible for LEED certification, it may be either included or not included in the certification as outlined in USGBC’s campus guidance.

Replace:
An Excel version of the WaterSense Water Budget Tool can be found under the Resources tab for this credit, at usgbc.org/credits.
Project teams outside the U.S. must complete the tool using IP rather than SI units. Use the conversion calculator found under the Resources tab.

With:
Projects outside the U.S: use the non-U.S. water budget calculator, which can be found on usgbc.org. Projects must provide rainfall and evapotranspiration data for their location. This calculator uses SI units.

Update the second sentence to read as: "The weekend minimum threshold are reduced, and project teams are now allowed to count the weekend day with the higher number of trips rather than the weekend average."

Update the first three steps of process for attempting credit substitution to read as follows:

Process for attempting credit substitutions:

1. In LEED Online, within each credit in your v4 project, you will see a gray arrow icon on the right side of each attempted credit on the credits tab.
2. Click this icon for each credit you would like to substitute.
3. You will see a popup box that reads: “I am pursuing a LEED v4.1 credit substitution on this credit." Click “Confirm” for each credit you plan to attempt.

Add the following to the International Tips section:

"Projects in Canada can either buy Green-e certified products or use RECs from Canadian facilities that meet the eligible renewable definition and are generated at facilities certified by the EcoLogo Program (ecologo.org)."
