Since eQUEST is unable to model dedicated outdoor air system linked to the radial panels, we modeled DOAS units by creating “dummy zones” within the model.

Room exhaust fan energy process or not?

I remember seeing from somewhere that if the exhaust fan is not interlocked with the HVAC, it should be considered a process load and modeled the same in proposed and baseline.

I remember reading it somewhere that exhaust fan that is not interlocked the the HVAC should be process energy (room exhaust).
