Light meter to obtain light reflectance of finishes?

We are having trouble getting light reflectance values from the manufacturer for a number of finishes. Has anybody tried using some sort of light meter to get the value yourself?

In the fine print of this credit under the table for adding solar reflectance and thermal emissivity it lists a very recent standard "ASTM/CRRC S-100-2021" which is based on ASTM C1371.
