Please verify that when calculating the minimum 25 linear foot distance from an opening to an exterior designated smoking area, whether or not the measurement can go around solid obstacles.

Is policy verbiage detailing the communication of no-smoking policy by signage strategically throughout a campus acceptable in place of actual drawings or photos?

Upload Blower Door test results in design stage?

NC-2009 IEQp2:Environmental Tobacco Smoke (ETS) Control
posted by  Maria Porter  on

IEQp2 is a design prerequisite. For residential units, (smoking allowed), we have to upload blower door test results. Since it is in design stage, there is yet nothing to perform testing on.

Does anyone have experience demonstrating compliance for campuswide or multiple buildings? We would like to document this credit for campuswide submission.

If you select the option that smoking is prohibited within 25' of the building, LEED Online asks you to indicate where smoking is allowed.
