I am working on a Non-US project that is located in a new neighborhood that had been graded and developed by the local Municipality (roads and sidewalks) in 2006.

Previously Developed Site vs. Prime Farmland

I have a site that is currently on previously developed site. Utilities, sidewalks, etc are already in place. However the Soil Survey says the land the is prime farmland if drained.

Hi, I saw a previous post and response that suggested submitting a CIR or LEED Interpretation for projects that are building on previously developed sites that are considered prime farmland.

Farmland of Statewide Importance

Our project is LEED NCv2009 and the site is designated as "Farmland of Statewide Importance", but not Prime Farmland. We are trying to clarify Prime Farmland v. Farmland of Statewide Importance.
