The project site is classified as "prime farmland," but is in a developed area with buildings all around. Can I still comply with this credit?

Our project site is in what FEMA refers to as "Zone D"—an area that has possible but undetermined flood hazards, as no analysis of flood hazards have been conducted. How can we tell if we comply with this credit?

Is a Sports Field Considered Graded or Prime Farmland?

Hello,

Our project was built on a former sports field. I was wondering if a sports  field (baseball) is considered graded or prime farmland for credit SSc1? For credit SSc5.2, a sports field is exempt as natural environment therefore I would think that it would not be considered graded or prime farmland for SSc1. 

Does anyone have experience with this issue? I haven't found a CIR or query on LEED User to shed some light on this.

Sophie, the definition of prime farmland would, I think, exclude a baseball field. The field would have to be suitable for growing crops and available for that use.
