We are building an addition to an existing building that has a central plant that is outside of our LEED boundary. However, we also have a contract to improve the performance of the central plant.

I am modeling a new building(Laboratory/office) on a university campus following LEED v4 Option 1, Whole Building Energy Simulation. New Building is 3 story and 69,500 sq.ft .

Is there any new guidance or published changes for modeling district energy loops in LEED v4?

We are designing a research and development facility for an equipment manufacturer and trying to pursue LEED certification for the facility.

Is there any special considerations for a project registered (v2.2) and designed 10 years ago is now being constructed. V2.2 and v2009 have expired so we need to register it for v4.

Does anyone know if either prereq EA - Minimum Energy Performance, or the Optimize Energy Performance credit need a third party review as it did under the CaGBC's LEED 2009?

Dear All, Our project building is located in Istanbul/Turkey. Cooling will be provided by centralised two chillers. There is not a cooling tower.
