How does one count the recycled content of fabrics used in furnishings? Do you have to separate out the cost of the fabric relative to the cost of the chair?

How does furniture upholstery fabric selection play into recycled content and any other miscellaneous credits?

I rec'd product data for recycled content on the alum. frame stating material composed of 25% post-consumer primary, and 50% post-industrial scrap.
