"Site energy" usage for a multiple building projectEBOM-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Efficiency Performanceposted by Chris Miller on Sep 25, 2012, 10:09 pmthat there is a 'parking lot' space type in PM, so I think I should include the headbolt heaters in that space type. Does that sound right? Finally, somewhere in the MPR guidance, it mentions dividing up supporting land (parking, hardscape, etc.) proportionally if it is shared with another building. Using that logic, should I proportionally assign the electrical usage of the parking lot (headbolt heaters) to each... Last reply: Chris Miller, Sep 27, 2012, 9:56 pm |

Demand control ventilationCS-2009 EAp2: Minimum Energy Performanceposted by FABIO VIERO on Oct 19, 2012, 10:42 amHello all, is it true that "Whenever credit is taken for demand control ventilation in the Proposed Case, the outside air ventilation rates for the Baseline Case must be modeled using minimum ASHRAE 62.1-2007 rates"? It sounds strange because for achieving the DCV credit we have to demonstrate the increase of the outside air (according to Italian standard, outside flowrate is 30% bigger than the 62.1 minimum outdoor flowrate). So how could it be positive for IEQp1 and negative for EAp2? Thank you a lot EAp2 ... Last reply: Marcus Sheffer, Oct 24, 2012, 10:44 am |
