Shading by trees

NC-2009 SSc7.1:Heat Island Effect—Non-Roof
posted by  Courtney Royal  on

Hello, I have never documented this credit by using the shading option from existing tree canopy. I understand you'll need to calculate shaded area from each tree on June 21 at 10, 12, and 3pm.

We are using the shadow of the trees canopy to comply with the credit. When calculating the average shadow of three times a day, part of this is outside the site boundary.

Does anyone have a chart with SRI ranges for gravel 3+ years aged. Trying to get a ballpark number to see if it's worth testing or getting new white gravel for the client for LEED4 submission.

The hardscape for my project is mostly white concrete. However, in some areas the white concrete is edged by colored concrete which has SRI values outside the allowable range.
