We have a site that is a previously developed urban site. According to the web soil survey from the USDA it is adjacent to Prime farmland and on Farmland of statewide importance. Therefore I have two questions:
1. Are previously developed sites exempt from this requirement? This site has multiple buildings, parking, etc. and is in an urban context. The buildings will be taken down and a new building erected on the site.
2. Is Farmland of statewide importance considered Prime farmland?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Lisa, the prime farmland definition in the credit language is pretty specific, so I'd say that you fall outside of that. Previously developed sites are not exempt from the requirement.
