EBOM-2009 MRc9:Solid Waste Management—Facility Alterations and Additions

Construction of Stormwater Facility Containment

Hi! Our project is pursuing both MRc3 and MRc9. We do not have facility alterations & additions inside the building but will install a stormwater facility containment during the performance period within the LEED boundary.Do this qualify for the 2 mentioned credits as facility addition? Thanks a lot.

Hi Mary Ann, I'd recommend consulting the tables above under the LEEDuser guidance for what constitutes an alteration/addition per this credit. Unfortunately, my read of those tables suggests that an "MEP" (not exactly, but close) project outside the building would not qualify.

Hi Mary Ann, I agree with Tristan since the requirements say that changes must affect usable space in the building.
