The attraction of glazing units with a very thin profile, relatively low weight, and a high level of performance is strong, particularly for retrofit applications.

What happened to all of the operational policies and plans that we could pursue for Innovation credit under LEED v2009?

Operational policies and plans can no longer be pursued as standalone credits. Instead, LEED v4 introduced a new Innovation credit called the LEED O+M Starter Kit. Teams must pursue two of the five EBOM v4 policies/plans listed below order to earn one Innovation point. A second Innovation point can be achieved by documenting an additional two policies/plans.

My building doesn’t have any exterior lighting (no site lighting and no building-mounted lighting). Is my project eligible for this credit?

Yes. If there is no exterior lighting within the LEED project boundary, you can simply document this fact and achieve the credit. You don’t need to meet any fixture shielding requirements or take perimeter illumination measurements.
