• Networking with state legislators and policymakers within Vermont and in other states where state law and policy has advanced policy on climate change and human health beyond the federal level. Topics of interest include access to mental health services in rural areas, substance-abuse treatment, access to novel PTSD treatments for veterans and survivors of domestic abuse, and working with BIPOC folks affected by injustices of policing and structural racism.

We are looking to expand our team to include a project engineer for Energy and Commissioning projects. Candidate’s duties will primarily focus on administering commissioning projects, preparing specifications, leading Owner Project Requirement document development, preparing functional testing plans and commissioning plans, overseeing and performing on site functional testing, project coordination and other duties as required as part of the commissioning process. Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager provides substantive support to each Project Manager through assigned documentation and calculations for a broad spectrum of green building rating systems. It is your job to understand broad concepts and be able to use the tools required to do so for each project. The Assistant Project Manager plays a fundamental role in the team in the efficient and accurate delivery of certified and non-certified sustainability services.

For the Assistant Project Manager, this is the role that offers the broadest experience with the wide range of the services offered by ZCS. Your job also includes effectively sharing new knowledge and information regarding various certification systems, technologies, etc. with the team. You will also participate in marketing assignments required of the entire team and will be expected to participate in professional development and community-building activities. This is a full-time position (30 hour minimum).

Austin Energy Green Building - Temporary Associate Project Manager – Austin, TX

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) has engaged in a partnership with Austin Energy Green Building to support green building in new construction and operations at the airport. AUS has initiated their roughly $4.5 billion Airport Expansion and Development Program (AEDP) to take place in three phases into 2027. The purpose of this position is to assist AUS project managers, design/construction teams, planners, and operators with implementing and documenting green building / sustainability initiatives.
