Pilot-Credits SSpc55:Bird collision deterrence

Landscaping near the facade

One of my teammates has raised a concern that we aren't eligible for this credit if plantings are located near the facade. I don't see any mention of that requirement in the credit language. Am I missing something?

Michelle, agreed, I am not seeing this. Plantings can attract birds which could increase risk (in theory -- I haven't seen research on this) but the credit does focus on facade and lighting. It would be unfortunate to remove plantings which may provide bird habitat without evidence.
