CI-v4 WEp1:Indoor water use reduction

WaterSense Labelling Alternatives

Hi! Toilet (Water Closet); Urinals; Private Lavatory Facuet; and Showerheads all need to be WaterSense Labelled. However- what are the equivalent labels? as per "or a local equivalent for projects outside the U.S" Thanks Oli

I haven't seen USGBC come out with explicit guidance on this. I would suggest you ask GBCI. I will also ask a contact there.

WaterSense Equivalencies
In the following countries, project teams must select fixtures with the designated label in place of the WaterSense requirement: COUNTRY / REGION LABEL WEBSITE

Canada               WaterSense  Non-mandatory Labels
The following water efficiency fixture labels are recognized as market transformational, and are recommended, but not required for LEED projects:
