Dear all, I have a gypsum board partitions with a false ceiling all over the floor. I need to know if I can use the Hard-lid ceiling as an alternative to the Deck to deck partitions or not?

Omar, I am guessing that hard-lid ceilings would not be acceptable, as they are not noted as an option. For IEQc5, hard-lid ceilings or deck-to-deck partitions are acceptable, and are noted as such. Additionally, it seems that deck-to-deck partitions would better isolate each room, whereas hard lid ceilings may leave above ceiling areas open.
