Could someone please help define the meaning of 'source separated' in terms of the Material Stream credit calculator?

Good afternoon, I have a question regarding submitting documents for the Construction Application phase. This is the first project I have done and I am lost on where to start.

I am working on a project where LEED was almost an after thought. I was brought into the project just after the 60% submittal.

Looking for a clarification on the "Roof Area" definition, in particular, what constitutes an "open covered parking structure".

We were inspired to test out this credit because of the huge increase in students walking to school after we completed a full renovation of a historic school in North Adams, MA.

For a project where we're pushing for parking garages for the cars, but have asphalt driveways, can we consider the footprint of the garage as hardscape that meets the requirement?

I have about 35 ceiling- mounted heat pumps throughout the building, and it would be cost-prohibitive to install a separate meter on each one.

We have a project that is an existing canopy converted into a building without a 15' wide wall on one side. There will be a 10'x15' enclosed office inside this building.

I am doing option 3, approach 1.

I am working on a project wherein the equipment and appliances are installed by the tenant AFTER completion. I can get date from tenant/agency on proposed equipment.
