MERV 13 in residences

Has anyone submitted a residential project that has pursued the intent of the MERV 13 filters in an alternate compliance path?

Is Reused Wood Flooring Required to be Certified?

Is reclaimed wood flooring required to be certified? Similar to EAc1.4 and MRc7, I would assume reused products would be exempt but I have not found a reference for this.
