Meaning of HARDSCAPE in LEED projects

I'm very new to LEED terminologies. I'm preparing for LEED Green Associate exam. I'm stuck with the definition of hardscape. What does HRADSCAPE exactly refer to?

we have a residential project with no cooling tower, if it is eligible for Option 2?

I have attended numerous seminars, including an all-day workshop at GreenBuild, on V4 and V4.1, and every time I was told that for this credit, the minimum required vegetated area is 25% of the 30%

We are working with a project outside US, and need information on USGBC-approved equivalent for HERS index rating for projects outside the U.S.
