Hi,

We are doing an office building.

Can we get points for Option 1, even if we don't have any spaces in the building where hazardous gases or chemicals may be present or used?

You likely have janitor's closets or places where cleaning products will be stored. These spaces normally are identified for compliance with this credit.

Yes you can, I have done it (in v2009, but the credit is basically the same). But they have sometimes been very picky with cleaning closets, just a small 1 m2 room with a tap for filling a bucket and storing a broom, they want it to be included. And then of course you must have the mats and the rest of the credit. /Maria
