Current registered project shifts to New Rating Systems

Could project currently registered under a rating system such as LEED NC 2009 opt to the new rating system such as LEED Data Centre at the time when the new rating system is available in 2012?

CI Project in two buildings

Need guidance, not sure whether we have to register as 1 project or 2 here. We have a project whereby the tenancy space involves 1 building of 8 floors and the adjacent building of 3 floors.

Waterfront sites

Can a project boundary extend into a lake? I have a Department of Natural Resources building located on a lakefront. They have a public boat landing on site.
