Using the Assembly Calculator for Gyp Wall assemblies

CI-2009 MRc4:Recycled Content
posted by  Charles Nepps  on

I know this is kind of out there, but we have a situation where the GC has only provided unit pricing for wall assemblies (per sf) and not a cost breakdown of the individual components.

Roof Anchors

NC-2009 MRc4:Recycled Content

Roof anchors are permanently installed - can they be included in the calculations? I've seen them specified in Division 7 under roofing, Division 11, and perhaps can bu under Division 10.

The 200 yard rule applies to bicycle racks outside of the project boundary but how about public showers outside of the project boundary?

Hi, I have two short questions: 1. Would an IT Room require a minimum ventilation rate if it is an infrequently occupied space?

EQc3, EQc5 and filtration requirements

NC-2009 IEQc3.1:Construction IAQ Management Plan—During Construction
posted by  Steve Loppnow  on

I'd like to confirm that if a project is pursuing EQc5, that they must use MERV 13 filters for flush-out but can still use MERV 8 filters on equipment that is operated during construction.

The project is located outside the US where Green-e suppliers are not present. The project is thus looking at buying Green-e RECs.

MERV 13 filtration required? Need some opinions here...

NC-2009 IEQc5:Indoor Chemical and Pollutant Source Control
posted by  David Gibney  on

In order to comply with LEED IEQc5, do we need to provide MERV-13 filters for the supply air of a very large warehouse? The warehouse is expected to be “regularly” occupied.
