To the materials derived from petroleum as we consider the place of extraction? As the real place of extraction of the raw material oil?

I've heard that the location should be taken from where the steel in formed (manfactured) to determine the milage for Regional Materials since it is difficult to document the extraction location.

I am a bit confused when it comes to Steel Joist and Deck. New Millennium and Vulcraft obtain steel from mills.

When calculating both the regional material and recycled content material percentages, do you use the subcontractors cost or can they include their markup?

rebar mill certificates

The reviewer question the distance on the rebar steel. Will the mill certificates be enough verification of the distance. Showing the distances of the (2) Mills where the material was composed?

Hello, I have a LEED project in mexico city and we are using steel to document this credit. However the extraction is in Japan and it is manufacturated within 500 miles.
