Hi, Does anyone know if there are any extra requirements aside from the optional BECx in LEED for HC vs Canada NC 2009? I can't see any but have been told there are more visits required.

Sub-consultant to CxA

NC-2009 EAc3:Enhanced Commissioning
posted by  Lise Dannesboe  on

Hi. We have a project over 50.000 sf, where an individual from the Owner is CxA. He would, however, like to hire a sub-consultant to handle some of the work during the construction phase.

CxA contracting for enhanced commissioning in a design&build pro

NC-2009 EAc3:Enhanced Commissioning

Dear All, We have a 300,000sqft project, quite technical facility. It is a design&build contract and the owner is reluctant on taking independent contracts on his own.

My current project contains a non-manufacturing lab and research facility. The entire lab and research facilities probably incorporate a large portion of the buildings overall power consumption.

choosing the CxA for Enhanced Commissioning

NC-2009 EAc3:Enhanced Commissioning

A project we are working on already has a CxA for the Fundamental Comissioning (Independent consultant contracted by the Owner). Can the CxA for the EAc3 be different from the EAp1 CxA?
