Energy Modeling: Dome (Design) vs. Dome (Baseline)?
NC-2009 EAc1:Optimize Energy Performanceposted by Nelina Loiselle on
I am working on the LEED Certification of a 23,000sq.ft. concrete "business continuity" dome. It is literally a concrete dome.
100% of energy generated by PVs at site--will it earn 19 points?
NC-2009 EAc1:Optimize Energy Performanceposted by Brooks Critchfield on
We have a project on a "campus" site with existing buildings. The Owner has installed an extensive array of PVs which are shared by buildings on this site.
Warehouse - Heating Only
NC-2009 EAc1:Optimize Energy Performanceposted by Curt Pascoe on
There has been much talk that warehouses with heating-only (no cooling) must still model a cooling system in the baseline and proposed case, since the space is defined as conditioned.

Deriving Minimum Efficiency Requirements for Baseline Chillers
NC-2009 EAc1:Optimize Energy Performanceposted by heinrich post on
We are wondering how to interpret the Minimum Efficiency Tables of Chapter 6.8 in ASHRAE 90.1-2007 to model HVAC efficiencies of baseline equipment. Our baseline building has a floor area > 150.
Exhausted heat
NC-2009 EAc1:Optimize Energy Performanceposted by Kath Williams on
Can a LEED project use exhausted/waste heat (and claim credit of some kind) from an adjacent building that is not being included in LEED project boundary?
