I’m modelling a school in which a conference room is going to be placed. The baseline shall be System 5 - Packaged VAV with reheat.

In EAc1 Related Credits (pg. 260 of BD&C Book) it says that you can mitigate energy use impacts by using renewable energy: refer to EAC2, and EAC6.

Dear All, We're working on the certification of a restaurant where the kitchen has an outdoor air (OA) rate of 2350 CFM, supply air at 8000 CFM, and an exhaust rate of 3675 CFM.

I am working on a LEED project in Qatar and wanted to query USGBC on using aircooled chillers in the baseline building instead of water cooled chillers.

Semiheated space and baseline model

In the proposed building there is a semiheated space (climate zone 4, heating power 40 W/m^2, no ventilation, no cooling). In the baseline model shall that space be modeled without HVAC system?

I've seen some discussion about the section G3.1.1 from ASHRAE 90.1-2007, but I still have some doubt about it. I'm working in a project that is a build-to-suit office building with 13 floors.

LEED Interpretation 1600 (see below for Interpretation language), which applies to EAc1, was written for LEED-CS version 2.0.

We have a project that will be 60-70% earth sheltered and Appendix G doesn’t seem to provide guidance on how we might demonstrate the energy savings.
