Hi, I understand that the RECs need to be Green-e certified but their are different types of recs in MA where my building is located.

Hello. I am new to the entire LEED topic, therefore I have some general questions. Moreover I would like to hear some recommendations. First of all, Carbon offsets must be Green-e certified.

Being a contractor (GC), we are tasked with putting a bid together for LEED projects that include as a requirement the green power credit (some here in the US, others overseas).

The Reference Guide at p. 460 states:

"For any projects using energy model Path 1, green power and offsets used in a DES do not contribute toward the credit for connected building".
