Hi, I understand that the RECs need to be Green-e certified but their are different types of recs in MA where my building is located. For example there's APS, Class1, Class 2, WTE, SREC 1 and SREC 2. Does it matter which one of these types of RECs are purchased?

Sorry to be flippant but those RECs that are Green-e certified qualify. It is not the class or type of REC that gets certified, it is specific REC products. Some of these types may not meet Green-e requirements. Some may be more or less expensive. Some may just be used to meet a state mandate which usually means they do not qualify under Green-e. You can find out which REC products are Green-e certified here -https://www.green-e.org/certified-resources - Hope that helps.
