PRM Modelling Queries

CS-2009 EAc1:Optimize Energy Performance

Hi, I have 2 questions in relation to the 90.1 Energy Model. 1) Is Dublin (Ireland) in ASHRAE climate zone 5 or 5a. 2) The building to be modeled is a 5 storey building with a basement.

When modelling the Baseline where the building is existing (not a new build) what is the procedure for selecting the baseline constructions in the model. This building is outside the US.

How does the formula work with mixed new and existing projects?

Our project building is 75% existing and 25% new construction. When the credit form calculates the EAc1 points, it is done based on a weighted average, which makes sense.

I would like some help on the intent and definition with some examples that can use 0.5 in. w.c. as credit for: "Return and/or exhaust airflow control devices". Thanks

Is it possible for a project to achieve LEED Silver and only meet EAp2 by demonstrating 10% energy cost savings?

In case of project with an area which is already designed but yet built (less than 40% of gross project area), can we use "owner's commitment" instead of "leasing agreement" to state all the design
