We have a huge existing building which is internally divided into five separate buildings. Each building has its own owner. Can we get LEED EBOM certificate for only one of these buildings?

My client's successful LEED EBOM 2009 project was certified in 2012. Will my client have to upgrade to V4 when they re-certify or will they be allowed to continue with the LEED 2009 system?
