I noticed USGBC information "This pilot credit was closed to new pilot credit registrations on 3/1/2015.

Our project site has a development history going back to the mid-1800's which included a rather lengthy and involved brownfield remediation.

I do agree with Loic that in France, projects that pursue the french certification HQE would perform a site analysis to assess the needs, opportunities and issues that need the most attention.

The overall intent of the pilot credit is a good one - it requires a thorough analysis of several site considerations, including some that are not included in traditional site design.

The latest revisions to Pilot Credit #45 are very good.
