LI#10442 allows a building that's earned U.S. Zero Waste Certification to pursue an Innovation in Operations credit 1 for Exemplary Performance if at least 95% diversion is achieved for LEED EB: O+M. Our client has this certification at their current building, our new project with them will replace their current building and they will continue to maintain this certification in their new building, we are pursuing LEED NCv2009. Can we use this as an ID credit?

Sounds totally reasonable to me, but it's just a specific question and such a specific ruling, that if the point is critical to you I'd confirm with GBCI in advance.
