Schools-2009 IEQc7.1:Thermal Comfort—Design

Has anyone been able to achieve this credit in a ventilated, but not conditioned Wood/Metal shop. It is not feasible to condition this space at this time, but the loss of this credit (and associated IEQc7.2 & IEQc10) appears to destroy our potential for a Silver project (tax potential for Silver is approximately 1.4 million). ASHRAE 55 really doesn't do much with helping out a space of this type.

Daniel, there is additional information on LEEDuser's page for the NC-2009 version of this credit that is not included here. I would review that information, including LEED Interpretation #10279.
