Our project was the complete renovation of a small building with masonry exterior walls, a concrete slab on grade at the first floor and wood framing for the interior walls, 2nd floor, attic and roof. My question is whether to count BOTH the attic floor and the roof decking within this credit. The attic floor has plywood decking over ceiling joist, however the head height in the attic is only about 7' at the ridge and tapers to zero at the eaves. Given that the attic is therefore not counted as part of the Gross Floor Area (headheight less than 7.5') I am not sure whether counting the attic floor is appropriate for this credit.

It seems like a stretch to count it. It's all basically part of the roof assembly/deck.
