I recently received LEED review team comments on this credit. We have interior "bridge" walkways that include wood decking on the underside. The LEED review team asked us to include this material in our documentation. We left it out because it is not the walk surface. They are in the interior of the building though. Should we include them in this credit or did the LEED review team misunderstand the application of the material? Please advise -- Thanks!

Heather,
Hmm. If this was a v4 project I would infer that the wood decking is a ceiling surface.
But as it is under v2009, was the reviewer asking about the wood itself, or any coating applied to the wood?

Here is the comment:
The documentation provided in the Materials and Resources credits includes flooring materials that have not been included on the form for this credit (Wood Decking from Unalam)

Sounds like a misunderstanding. I would contact them via the "Feedback" option on LEED Online. You might be able to clear it up that way.
