NC-v4.1 EQc2:Low-Emitting Materials

VOC emissions evaluation Option 1 vs Option 2

In the credit calculator, under the Low-emitting criteria column (for Flooring, Wall panels, Ceilings, and Insulation) the drop down box has options for VOC emissions evaluation Option 1 or VOC emissions evaluation Option 2.  I don't see an explanation for what Option 1 and Option 2 are in the reference guide.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

Option 1 is CDPH Standard method. Option 2 is ACP for International Standard. OR it's and accidental holdover from v4 where you could choose option 1 for total category compliance and option 2 for budget compliance. In either case choose Option 1. I thought it might be buried in the hidden columns of the instructions tab, but I'm not finding it there or in the previous iterations of the calculator, which I helped develop. On the "Paints and Coatings" worksheet, it provides an explanation when you hover over the red triangle in the "VOC Emissions Evaluation" column. I assumed that this note extended to all the other categories and worksheets. Option 1 is for products tested in accordance with the CDPH standard and Option 2 is for products tested in accordance with EN 16516.

It is stated in LEED v4.1 Building Design and Construction guide page 216 of 259.
VOC emissions evaluation:
Option 1: Product has been tested according to California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Standard Method v1.2–2017 and complies with the VOC limits in Table 4-1 of the method.
Option 2: Product has been tested according to EN 16516:2017 and complies with the LCI values from Table 1 of the German AgBB Testing and Evaluation Scheme (2015) and a formaldehyde limit of 10 micrograms per cubic meter.
