Hi,
I'm supporting The HUB RiNo Station project (1000100418 - LEED v4 BD+C: CS ). We are pursuing MRc3: Building product disclosure and optimization - sourcing of raw materials. Currently, we have a few manufacturers which we've procured products and materials from but are unsure if these companies and manufacturers comply with the USGBC's Acceptable CSR frameworks. I've taken a few of these manufacturer's corporate sustainability reports, extracted the relevant language that references Acceptable CSR framework. Please see excerpts from DOW Corning, RockWool, and Tarkett.
- DOW Corning - "In preparing the 2015 Sustainability Report, Dow Corning utilized the most current GRI® framework, the G4 Sustainability Reporting
Guidelines. The report was prepared in accordance with the guidelines’ “Core” reporting option."
- RockWool - "ROCKWOOL has signed up to the United Nations Global Compact and expresses our continued support for the
Global Compact..." and "This 2016 report covers the calendar year and is in line with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI G4) guidelines."
- Tarkett - "Each year, Tarkett publishes its sustainability & CSR report, including its dashboard and 2020 objectives, which are reviewed by an independent third party..." and "included are the the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact and the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (the GRI G4 option). (See Section 3.4.3 concordance table Grenelle 2 / GRI / Tarkett Report.)"
Is there any way that these manufacturer's Corporate Sustainability reports would comply with the Acceptable CSR framework?
Thanks for your time,
