Hello,

Our project completed a waste audit over a 24-hour period and the data was extrapolated to represent the whole year - the one year data was entered into Arc accordingly for the performance period. We received the following comment from a LEED reviewer:

"It appears that the waste audit included waste from a single day (i.e., one 24-hour period); however, the values entered into arc represent an entire year. Waste audit results should not be extrapolated to represent an entire year. Revise the values for Waste Generated and Waste Diverted to align with the single-day values reported in the waste audit results. Ensure to provide the single-day audit results"

The waste performance score is calculated based on the weight of materials and number of occupants in the building. If the findings from the waste audit are inputted into Arc for just the 24-hour period, wouldn't that inflate the score (i.e., does not represent the total amount of waste for the entire performance period, just for one single day)?
