Our project site includes an existing lab building as well as a modular building (essentially a large trailer) that is temporarily housing expansion of the lab until a new lab building is added to the site. The existing lab building is being reused and expanded. The modular building will be removed once the new lab is occupied.
Is it correct to exclude the modular building from calculations for the percentage of Building Reuse - Maintain Existing Walls, Floors and Roof?

I would say exclude it unless you are renovating at least part of the temp. modular bldg as part of this project.
Additionally, I would also say if you can show proof ! that when the modular building is taken away it will be reused, then you could try to add it to the C&D Waste Recycling weights as "recycled." Most modular building mfgr's can give you the weight of a completed modular building (without any attached furnishings) based on a "model" number which should be on the building somewhere like a nameplate.
Best of Luck,
