synergies from LEED-NC to LEED-EBOM

Jeff, I think you will find the client is starting from scratch. Yes, they will have a good shot at certain credits based on their NC performance, but there is not a ton of overlap, and the documentation for the areas where there is overlap is often different.

Jeff, What is the building type?

Thanks Tristan! I figured. I was hoping that USGBC or others had released some guidance, project list or case studies that show the synergies in credit achievement. I'm finding it hard to find highlights from projects that have taken this route. Aside from the recent Double Platinum at CA Academy of Sciences. Susan, Its a Retail facility but was certified under NC 2.2 not retail. Any resources would be great.

Jeff, I have asked LEEDuser's EBOM experts over the last couple years if this is relevant and if we should put together some resources here. They have always been clear with me that the documentation just doesn't carry over (in most cases), the credit requirements are different, and so there is not a lot of general guidance to give. I'd love for them to be proven wrong, since this does seem like a no-brainer. Maybe in future versions of LEED, but that's one of the problems... your case is probably typical, going from v2.2 to 2009.

I don't know too much about Retail. In healthcare we use the Green Guide for Healthcare which has construction and operations standards. You may want to view it for ideas. OR do an internet search for 'bridging documents'.
