I am working on a LEED CS 2009 project and the owner of the building is building an off-site solar farm in a different town in the same state as the building he also owns and is going to be building. I would like to either use the on-site solar credit for 100% building off-set, however solar will not be on-site, and also thought perhaps the EA Credit 6 Green Power could be used, but it will not be an energy contract he is purchasing. I have also been told for this credit I could use a part of LEED V4, to achieve what I am looking for. I would also like to get an ID point for having a television in the lobby showing the solar performance of the off-site array that is being used to power the building. Can anyone give me advice on how to accomplish this?

Hi Heather, this is more of a question for EAc2. There is an FAQ on that page of our guidance that applies to your situation (for campuses, but I think it can be applied here).Regarding the educational kiosk in the lobby, see our guidance on IDc1 for what qualifies as far as green building education goes. You'll need a bit more to your strategy to qualify.
